Carhartt WIP x Tresor Collection Arrives at La La Land Store

La La Land Store is delighted to announce that it will be one of the few locations in Portugal to host the exciting new collaboration between Carhartt WIP and Tresor, one of Berlin's most iconic clubs and record labels. This partnership celebrates the enduring spirit of two musical metropolises – Detroit and Berlin – and will be available in our physical store upon opening and online from 9:00 AM.

The collaboration between Carhartt WIP and Tresor solidifies a long-standing partnership that has evolved over the years, resulting in a capsule collection and a vinyl compilation, as well as a series of events in Detroit and Berlin. Both the capsule collection and the vinyl compilation will be released on May 23rd.

The Carhartt WIP x Tresor capsule, consisting of nine pieces, features an all-black and electric blue color palette, with reflective and glow-in-the-dark details, as well as our iconic Boogeyman motif. This fusion captures the industrial spirit of Berlin and Detroit with an energetic vibe from 90s dancefloors. Featured items include the Michigan Coat, Globus t-shirts, and the Basement Hoodie. The collection's vinyl compilation features Berlin-based artists Jesse G, Erik Jabari, and JakoJako.

The 12-inch vinyl album, titled 030313, pays homage to the telephone codes of Berlin (030) and Detroit (313) and harks back to early 90s techno compilations like Tresor II – A Techno Alliance. Side A opens with "I.D.L.E," a lost Model 500 track combining cosmic melodies with an engaging bassline, followed by "Searching (Live At Globus)" by Detroit duo Ectomorph, and "Your Body," an exclusive track by AMX (AKA The AM). On Side B, "Dynamic Instability" by DJ Stingray 313 pulses with furious, industrial funk, while "Metal Goat" by JakoJako keeps the energy high, and "Screamcore" by emerging producer Erik Jabari closes the album.
